There was little change from the 2007 model to the 2008 Jeep Wrangler. Prices increased slightly and some minor style tweaks, but it is hard to differentiate it from the 2007. The sunrider soft top is now standard on the on Rubicon and Sahara. Also ad an option remote ignition for those mountain days. Still the king of the 4X4. Jeep seems to delivery a winner with the Wrangler every year.
The 3 trim familiar trim options remain for the 2008 Wrangler: Rubicon, Sahara, and X. In 2008, the X RHD is also availible - the right hand drive version of the X. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, you get enhanced handling and off-road performance as well as a full set of interior benefits for about $28,000. The Sahara sits in the middle of the X and Rubicon and starts at just shy of $25,000. The X is the baseline configuration which comes at a great value starting at ~$19,000. The X RHD starts at just over $22,000, so you have to pay more to sit on the other side of the car. All these prices are a touch higher than last year's model.
